About the Journal
Green Engineering and Resilient Systems (GEARS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) managed by the School of Engineering (SOE) dedicated to disseminating high-quality, original, and impactful research that advances sustainable engineering, resilient communities, climate action, environmental stewardship, technological innovation, and sustainable development.
The journal serves as a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, educators, and industry partners whose work contributes to engineering solutions that enhance environmental sustainability, disaster resilience, and community well-being.
GEARS supports the university's vision of becoming a National University for Resiliency and Climate Action (NURCA) by promoting research that addresses local, national, and global challenges through innovative engineering and interdisciplinary collaboration.
